I admire a lot of people. But I don't think  I would ever admire anybody more than I admire my mom. And, to be honest any mom. How do they do it? I barely had time to write this post and yet they have 1, 2 or 6 other people to take care of and most of them even have full time jobs! how?

I owe my mom so many things, I am who I am because of her. She was stock with this teenager that didn't know what respect was. She didn't understand what rules were and why she had to follow them.  She had to deal with a 10 year old that wanted to live by herself and sell candy for a living. And she had to see me go to a different country 6 years later because I didn't understand why my mom wanted to be part of everything in my life.  I mean.. come on I leave my dog at the pet sitter and I cry. Moms are so amazingly strong and loving! They can put up with all our disgusting behaviors and still love and care for us in a way that nobody else does.

How can we not celebrate this day? How can I let it pass like any other day when I have the best mom of the world? And today, unlike my teenage years, I wish she was part of every single thing in my life.

Moms, you are heroes. And you have the power to change this world. Keep loving us, guiding us and teaching us the importance of a respectful and happy home. If only all the kids in the world had the mom I have, I'm absolutely sure this world would be a different place.

And, as a very small way to thank them I'm sharing a free printable card to let our moms know how thankful we are and how much we love them.

This is an A6 tent card. Print it on a 8.5" x 11" paper, cut using the grey guides and fold it in half.

Practice makes perfect, or at least gets you closer to where you want to get! I'm sharing with you guys these new brush lettering guides. If you go back on my blog a couple pages you'll find the old guides. There is always room for improvement and that is exactly why I updated my guides. I feel like a few months have helped me refine my strokes and in general the shape of my letters. The more you practice, the more you find your own style. So, practice practice practice! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions just leave a comment!
